Under the rules, it is suggested that with the proper equipment strength damage bonuses can be carried over to missile weapons; the suggestion is not fleshed out.  These rules establish the damage bonus for missile weapon.

For each weight increase of 10% over the weapon's base weight the missile will be designed for +1 damage.  Thus for +7 damage, add 70% to the weapon's weight.  A normal dagger weighs 10w, a +7 damage dagger weighs 17w.

Such weapons may only be wielded by those with adequate strength for such damage.  However, if 10% is less than 1w, the weight should be rounded up to the nearest whole coin weight for the maximum weight which may be wielded.  The character strength bonus still controls the maximum damage bonus.
