My sons have always been a bit mixed in their interests in music, and I have never pushed them--but in their late teens and early adulthood the youngest three (Tristan, Evan, Adam) picked up guitars, and the youngest several otherr instruments. But in the past couple years the number two son, Kyler (under the pseudonym "Kick-Ice"), took an interest in collaborating with an artificially intelligent songwriter, and has by now compiled over a hundred songs. I mention it here because at one point he asked permission to use my lyrics to create songs, and I thought that worth permitting. I thus now have added a page which links his versions of my lyrics.

The song titles on their own pages are written in a script called Shavian, just because Kyler is fond of it.
I should footnote that my versions of these songs were all written between 1970 and perhaps 2015, and the AI versions have been composed since perhaps 2023 or so.
The first he did was Holocaust. My original version can be heard at Holocaust.
Continuing in no particular order, Walkin' in the Woods. My original version can be heard at Walkin' in the Woods.
Voices. My original version can be heard at Voices.
Convinced. My original version can be heard at Convinced.
Time Bomb. My original version can be heard at Time Bomb.
In addition to these, he got me to collaborate on an AI song. He asked me for words, and I said, "Well, you can't go wrong with 'Jesus'," and he plugged that in, after which I contributed a number of musical terms, including gospel, jazz fusion, and the trombone. I probably also gave it a tempo, and maybe a few other bits, and Kyler gave it quite a few, and the computer gave us Can't Go Wrong with Jesus--rather impressive for a computer-generated song. He has since redone it with different musical parameters, still the same title, Can't Go Wrong with Jesus, although I prefer the original. |
Teaching has always been part of my ministry, and of the ministry of Cardiac Output. I would invite you to take a look at some of the Bible study materials I've put on the web for your edification.
