Natural Psionics Sciences and Devotions
Roll to determine the number of devotions and sciences.  It is the MyWorld rule that no player race can have more than 5 devotions or more than 2 sciences at any time as natural psionics; the only exception to this is that a character who rolls "2 devotions" as a science may exceed the number of devotions, but must be limited to one fewer science.  This table identifies the number of each to be rolled:

Roll

Once the number of each is determined, roll d24 (generated as d12 with a d2 multiplier, or d6 with a d4 multiplier) for each devotion, and d20 for each science; compare to this table:

*Book rules designate both of these entries as roll again, with these entries as optional alternatives.  MyWorld rules use the alternates exclusively.

Exclusions which apply to a class also apply to subclasses, as indicated here:
CLERIC includes Druid, Holy Order of the Stars, Monk, Runecaster, Shukenja, and Sohei.
FIGHTER includes Barbarian, Berserker, Bushi, Cavalier, Kensai, Knight of Solamnia, Oriental Barbarian, Paladin, Ranger, and Samurai.
MAGIC-USER includes Illusionist, Wizard of High Sorcery, Wu Jen.
THIEF includes Assassin, Ninja, Thief-Acrobat, and Yakuza.

MyWorld rules have generally allowed Bards and multiclassed characters to have any skill allowed to any included class.  However, DM's may prefer to restrict the psionic abilities of such multi-classed characters by declaring that they may not have any skill precluded to any of their included classes.  Thus an elven Fighter/Magic User/Thief may not have any skill which excludes fighters, magic users, or thieves.  For this purpose, a bard is a fighter and a thief, but not a cleric or magic user.

M. J. Young's Dungeons & Dragons Materials
Collection of such pages as the much-praised Alignment Quiz, What is an RPG? (excerpted from Multiverser), the highly valued Confessions of a Dungeons & Dragons™ Addict, along with special rules and player aids in both written and computer formats, this site was highly praised by RAWS, linked by Gary Gygax, and is worth a look even if you don't like what you found here.

The best new role playing game....

The Multiverser Information Center
The complexity of creating a D&D character always reminds me of how much simpler it is to play
Multiverser®, the game which incorporates all other games, all other worlds, everything imaginable, with nothing else to buy.

A consideration of time travel....

Temporal Anomalies in Popular Movies
There are enough time travel films out there now that most of the things which could go wrong in time have been shown on the silver screen.  This page applies a new conception of how time works (discussed in the
Multiverser® game system to help referees sort out game scenarios in which player characters travel in time) to unraveling the most popular of such movies.  An Event Horizon Hot Spot and Sci Fi Weekly Site of the Week which has won the author national recognition as an authority on time travel in fiction.
