Shukenja Weapon Proficiencies
The Shukenja, like the cleric, is intended as support for other characters.  The limitations on the shukenja are much different from those of the clerics--the primary one being that it is a dishonor for the shukenja to "take a life" (interpretted under MyWorld rules as the killing of an intelligent adversary, although other referees may rule that it refers to any living creature).  For this reason, many shukenja player characters select martial arts styles which contain paralyzing and incapacitating maneuvers, so as to provide a means of stopping an enemy without killing him.  (It is not a dishonor for the shukenja to reduce the opponent to a couple hit points or otherwise incapacitate him, and permit one of his companions to slay the enemy--although the use of healing magic or skills to aid an enemy will give honor and experience to the shukenja character.)  There are limits on the type of armor and the type of weapons allowed to the character.

In regard to armor, the player should verify with his referee that the indicated items will not interfere with his ability to use his martial arts skills.  Although no guidelines are given in the rules, MyWorld and most other referees restrict or penalize the use of martial arts when the character is encumbered or restricted by certain types of armor.

The best new role playing game....

The Multiverser Information Center
The complexity of creating a D&D character always reminds me of how much simpler it is to play
Multiverser®, the game which incorporates all other games, all other worlds, everything imaginable, with nothing else to buy.

A consideration of time travel....

Temporal Anomalies in Popular Movies
There are enough time travel films out there now that most of the things which could go wrong in time have been shown on the silver screen.  This page applies a new conception of how time works (discussed in the
Multiverser® game system to help referees sort out game scenarios in which player characters travel in time) to unraveling the most popular of such movies.  An Event Horizon Hot Spot and Sci Fi Weekly Site of the Week which has won the author national recognition as an authority on time travel in fiction.
