--Coordinating with an anonymous infilltrator, Unit 7 was secured I anticipation of a major gathering of principal rebels in the New London area, at Power Generation Station 4. The meeting occurred as expected. Shortly after the meeting was underway, I ordered my troops to surround the room in which the rebels were gathered, and then to enter and execute all persons other than the infiltrator, who had been instructed to move to the platform area and lie face down. As expected, the rebels were caught unaware, unarmed, and defenseless, and there were no problems encountered in the attack.

--However, the infiltrator reported that there was one unidentified rebel at the meeting. He expressed the opinion that it was an illegal from outside the city; the name given by the illegal was Darien. This illegal had entered the meeting area shortly before it began, wearing only a pair of pants woven of a blue coarse primitive but durable-looking material. The body of the illegal was not identified with those at the scene, so squads were assigned to guard possible entrances to the city and to scout the countryside in the immediate area.

--Shortly after daybreak, the illegal was captured as he entered the city through access way B-012, which had been left open in the belief that an outsider seeking entrance to the city might see an open door as a lucky break. He surrendered without a fight, and was turned over to prisoner holding Unit 39.
