Basic Style is single attack and d3 damage, but AC is -5. No weapons are used. |
Basic Style is single attack with a -5 sit-mod as practitioners are taught caution in their attacks, but Defense is a -20 sit-mod and a -15 damage mod. No weapons are used. |
Untitled can have up to three maneuvers. Concentrated Push (1) is effective in limited field (ring competition) combat, and increases in effect, possibly damage, with level. Sticking Touch (2) is difficult to break and gives -2 AC, +2 to hit, making AC -7, the best AC of any style. Crushing Blow (2) breaks wood or stone or does d3+level damage, but negates all other attacks that round. |
The Untitled will master up to three maneuvers. The first of these will usually begin with the sensory Fighting Blind, and continue with the leveraged Focused Push and the intensified Power Punch attacks. |
Master knows all of these, plus one, possibly two, more. One Finger (3) is effective at limited field (ring competition) combat, and increases in effect, possibly damage, with level, at a distance of one foot per level. Paralyzing Touch (3) completely disables a humanoid opponent for up to an hour. |
The Master usually adds the analytical Following Finger, sometimes also the anti-attack Immobilizer. |
Honored Master knows all of these plus exactly one more. Immobilizing (4) prevents an opponent from making any action other than a limited escape attempt. Blind Fighting (4) reduces the penalty for darkness, blindness, or invisibility to -1 (from -4). |
The Honored Master will generally add the disabling Paralyzing Strike to his arsenal. |
Most Honored Master knows all of these. |
The Most Honored Master usually masters the ranged Untouching Push. |
Most Highly Honored Master adds Levitation (6), which requires a full turn to initiate and rarely affects dueling. |
The Most Highly Honored Master will add Levitate, if such psionic skills are possible in the world in which the style is taught. |
Overall the style is highly defensive, but slow to hit and limited in damage. It has several dueling tools, but no disarming. It lacks All-around Sight, but has Blind Fighting. |
