More a brawling style than anything else, it was developed for use by soldiers in a renegade army. Many of the maneuvers are unique to the style, at least in their expression.

Basic Style |
Basic Style is single attack with ample bonuses, +10SM and +20 Dam Mod; although no weapons are taught, users are taught to incorporate any weapons with which they have bod-based skill, typically variants of knives and swords but possibly also blunts. Although titles would not be used in this scenario, they are given for consistency and comprehension. |
Untitled |
The Untitled may have mastered up to two maneuvers. The first of these will almost certainly be Steal Initiative B7@1, a concentration on being able to act and react before the opponent. Either the tactical Feint B7@2 or the positional Ground Fighting B7@2 would be second. This Feint variant of the typical B7@2 tactical movement Fake can only be used if the character wins the initiative and sacrifices it; it does not cost an attack, and bonuses the next attack +10SM. Ground Fighting is not substantially different from Fallen Fighting, enabling the character to continue to fight normally when on the ground. |
Master |
The Master will almost invariably know both of these. |
Honored Master |
The Honored Master usually adds the Intense Punch B7@3, and intensified damage attack at dangerous base damage which sacrifices initiative and takes a -10 SM. He may also know the Disarming B7@5 maneuver, a weaponless attack on weapon which follows the book example. |
Most Honored Master |
The Most Honored Master finishes his training with mastery of the Choke Hold B7@7, identical to the Choking Grasp. |
Overall |
Overall this style can dish it out and can take it, with significant modifiers on attacks and damage and a few potent maneuvers. It is not at all designed for ring competition, but it does contain disabling and disarming maneuvers. No sensory training is involved, but the steal initiative maneuver combines well with the feint and intense punch for significant damage. |
