These are articles that are part of The Examiner work that are not directly related to another topic. I am also including here the "mini-indices" that started running in 2014 as shortcuts to finding previous material; although they are considerably less needful on this site, they contained summaries of what are now the sections in those articles, and some readers may find them useful. They have been plucked out of sequence and placed where they might have gone had they been written at the ends of the years they index. (They were initiated at a time when this site was in jeopardy; thanks to the Patreon campaign the existence of the site itself may have been preserved, but that remains to be seen.)
There were originally some "one shot" analyses in this section, but I anticipate incorporating at least some of those into the full versions when we get that far.
I also expect that this section will be expanded eventually. I have a number of "best of time travel movies" articles in the works, and will probably continue to pursue predictions of future analyses and similar pieces as I am able. Of course, this depends in significant part on your support through Patreon or otherwise (a number of the movies I have analyzed were copies gifted by readers). I thank you for that in advance.
Late in 2014 it appeared that we would be unable to maintain this website; it had been shut down and there was no money to maintain it. An article was published at The Examiner outlining what then was the plan. That plan was derailed, but some of what appears on this site is vestigial of that, and so the article has been severely edited and republished here.
Late in 2014 it appeared that we would be unable to maintain this website and its index of Examiner articles; to mitigate that, we began publishing year-by-year indices to those articles. Now we are abandoning the Examiner site and moving the articles here, which means that these indices are less useful--but being preserved partly for their historic value and partly as a convenience for locating specific individual sections. The links have been redirected to those sections. This index covers Primer, Star Trek (2009), Bender's Big Score, The Butterfly Effect, a few Christmas movies, and Temporal Theory 101.
When on October 25th, 2010, Back to the Future had a one-night special showing, we announced it in time for our readers to make it to the show. This is the announcement as it originally appeared, with a few edits.

This was a movie that created a lot of well-deserved advance buzz; this was the article in which we announced its then-imminent opening and made some preliminary assessments of the film based on what we then knew.
We took a look ahead, now long behind, at a few movies which we either had obtained or were anticipating early in 2011.
Answering the perennial question concerning why we do not tackle time travel in media other than movies, and particularly in popular television series.
